AMA Recomends Chiropractic Treatment for Back Pain

The problem is here… fix the mechanics… stop the pain.

Pottsville: Most back pain patients think that medical doctors and chiropractors are at odds with each other.  At one time they were… but not any more.  There are a plethora of studies over 20 years that demonstrates that chiropractic care is less expensive, more effective, and has higher patient satisfaction than standard medical care.  The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) recently published a patient handout for LOW BACK PAIN recommending chiropractic treatment.

Chiropractic Recommendation Published In JAMA

The JAMA`s recommendation comes on the heels of a recent study out of the medical journal Spine where sufferers of lower back pain all received standard medical care and half of the participants additionally received chiropractic care. The researchers found that in the standard medical care plus chiropractic care patients, 73% reported that their pain was completely gone or much better after treatment compared to just 17% of the standard medical care group.

The evidence just can’t be ignored anymore.

If you have back pain, it is not only wise to start with chiropractic treatment… its recommended by the AMA.
